Terms of Use

Last updated: March 2026

Scope: These terms apply when you access, read, or use V2Ray Rankings’ client recommendations, download guides, and setup tutorials. Review the following terms and applicable laws before using this content.

1. Content and permitted use

For educational reference: We cover platform choices, core differences, and instructions for v2rayN, v2rayNG, and v2flyNG to support software learning, technical research, and lawful network administration. Our recommended order explains which scenarios each client suits; it is not a guarantee of suitability for a particular purpose, performance, or results.

What we provide: We offer information and links, not nodes, subscription accounts, or authorization to access servers. A working client does not mean you have legal permission to connect to a target network, use subscription resources, or process related data. Confirm that you have the necessary permission with the relevant provider.

2. Lawful use and user responsibilities

Lawful use: You must comply with the laws and regulations that apply where you are and to your activities, as well as the rules of your employer, school, network operator, and resource providers. Do not use our materials or related software for unauthorized access, information theft, distributing illegal content, disrupting network services, or other unlawful activity.

Using the software: Before importing a subscription, changing routing, adjusting DNS, or enabling TUN, understand the scope of each setting and make sure you have the necessary permission to manage the device. Keep backups of your original configuration and important data. You are responsible for protecting subscription links, account details, and connection credentials; do not disclose sensitive information on public pages or in feedback.

3. Software sources and liability

Independent projects: The relevant clients and cores are provided and maintained by their respective open-source projects and contributors. Refer to each project for its features, license terms, and release status. Our descriptions do not imply official authorization or create an agency, guarantee, or service commitment with project maintainers.

Availability and compatibility: Software updates, operating system differences, network conditions, and subscription settings can all affect results. We work to keep our guides clear and accurate, but cannot guarantee that they will always be complete, that links will remain available, or that configurations will work on every device. If an interface label or field has changed, check the current software documentation before proceeding.

Limitation of liability: To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for connection interruptions, failed configurations, data loss, or other losses resulting from using our materials, related software, or linked resources. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where applicable law does not allow it.

4. Intellectual property and attribution

Ownership: The names, logos, source code, and project materials for V2Ray, V2Fly, Xray, and each client belong to their respective rights holders. Open-source software remains protected by intellectual property rights. When copying, modifying, or distributing software, you must comply with the applicable open-source license for that version, including attribution, license-retention, and other requirements.

Using our content: Our original guides and layout are protected by applicable law. When quoting them, credit the source and preserve the context. Do not remove or alter key limitations in a way that could mislead readers. Software licenses and the terms for using our content are separate; our articles do not replace the original project licenses.

5. Changes to these terms and feedback

Changes: We may revise these terms to reflect content or feature changes or legal requirements. We will post revisions on this page along with the month of the latest update. Revised terms apply to relevant activity after they take effect and do not retroactively waive liability already incurred under applicable law. Before continuing, check for changes relevant to your use.

For configuration questions, check the FAQ or tutorials, then narrow down the issue by client and steps taken. When sending feedback, include your operating system, relevant settings, and steps to reproduce the issue; remove subscription links and personal information. For software licensing or project rights, refer to the rights holder’s official information.
